Culture and History
The Camp de César archaeological site in Nointel contains preserved ancient remains. The Camp de César site in the Bois des Côtes has been partially protected as a historic monument by decree of 7 May 1937.
Among the notable buildings is the 14th-century Notre-Dame-de-la-Route Chapel. It is located on the RD931, the Route de la Jacquerie, at the exit from Nointel towards Catenoy. The Nointel Obelisk dates from the 19th century and was erected in Nointel between 1832 and 1833.
The Church of Saint-Vaast has a Romanesque portal with capitals decorated with animal and plant motifs. Since 1927, it has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.
The former Marquisate Farm of Nointel is also one of the town's historic sites. It is partially protected as a historic monument; the listing took place by decree of 19 March 1992. Among its older buildings, it preserves a monumental portal, a grain barn, the former farmer's dwelling, a bakehouse, a dovecote, and a well.
The protected park of the Château de Nointel preserves the layout of French gardens. This continues to shape the relationship between the château and the village square, which is also protected.

The short Nointel–Mours circular walk is classified as very easy. It starts and ends at Gare de Nointel-Mours station.
Culinary Tradition
According to local tradition, Béchamel sauce is said to have been prepared for the first time by Marquis Louis de Béchameil at his château in Nointel. However, this attribution is disputed among historians.
