Culture and History
The Mémorial noyonnais de la Résistance et de la Déportation commemorates the resistance fighters of the Maquis des Usages and the events of June 1944 with ceramic high-relief panels. It is located on the Chemin des Hayettes in Crisolles.
The Église Saint-Eloi was completely rebuilt after the First World War, modelled on the previous church building. The structure is a neo-Gothic brick church; the nave contains Art Deco-style windows created in 2008 by the stained-glass artist Tambouret from Amiens.
The Monument de Crisolles at the site of Le Chemin Creux was inaugurated on 30 September 1934. It is dedicated to the defenders of Noyon during the fighting on 23, 24 and 25 March 1918 and consists of a concrete wall designed by the architects Davroux and Gauthier.
The Maquis des Usages is commemorated every year at a ceremony held on the Sunday closest to the anniversary of the attack.
Activities
The SHOOTING PARK is located on a renovated former military site in Crisolles, while preserving the park's natural setting. Activities include clay pigeon shooting and 3D archery.
The SHOOTING PARK includes a year-round 3D archery course approximately 4 kilometres long. This course is currently being completely redesigned.
The 55-kilometre “Au pays des fruits rouges” cycle route also passes through Crisolles.
Paths and Landscape
The Circuit de la Verse starts at the Place du Commerce in Crisolles. Shortly after the bridge over the Verse, it follows a path along the stream. Along the Verse, some traces of the former local railway line are still visible.
The Circuit de la Verse is considered closed until further notice.
Further Information
The former medieval leisure park Parc Carisiolas in Crisolles was closed at the beginning of 2020.
