The Château de la Reine Blanche is protected as a historic monument. It dates back to a medieval building that was later converted into a mill. In 1825 and 1826, the château was redesigned in the neo-Gothic style.

The Église Notre-Dame de Jeunesse was rebuilt in the Gothic style in 1875.

The Salon des Beaux-Arts de Coye-la-Forêt has been held every year or almost every year since 1967.

Nature

Along its route, the Sentier botanique de Coye-la-Forêt introduces visitors to around one hundred different trees and plants. The botanical trail is a 2 km circular route that begins at the exit of Coye-la-Forêt in the direction of the Étangs de Commelles.

The Étangs de Commelles extend along the course of the Thève River over more than 40 hectares and comprise four bodies of water. They are part of a Zone naturelle d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique (ZNIEFF), protected as a classified site within the Domaine de Chantilly and belonging to the Parc Naturel Régional Oise-Pays de France. Visitors can walk, cycle or ride horses around the four successive ponds of the Étangs de Commelles.

Getting There

The Orry-la-Ville–Coye-la-Forêt railway station is located on the Creil–Melun branch of RER D and offers a TER connection.
