The Église Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul in Bouillancy was built in phases from the 12th to the 16th century; its choir-and-transept complex was constructed in the first quarter of the 13th century. Since 22 May 2012, the Église Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul has been protected in its entirety as a historic monument.

Culture

Bouillancy experienced heavy fighting during the First World War, during the Second Battle of the Marne at the Ourcq. In the area surrounding the town is the Château de Gesvres de Crouy-sur-Ourcq, a château. The wider region around Bouillancy also includes the Musée Jean-Racine, a museum, the Abbaye Royale du Parc-aux-Dames, a ruin site, and the Château royal de Montceaux-lès-Meaux, a château.

Landscape

The Bouillancy area consists mainly of agricultural plains crossed by the Gergogne Valley. The Gergogne rises near Gueux and flows for almost 13 kilometres. The wider region around Bouillancy also includes Mont Cornon and Mont Pagnotte, both hills.

Trails

The Ognes–Bouillancy–Sennevières circular route is 31.5 kilometres long. It forms a loop through the Valois countryside and combines nature, rural heritage and beautiful viewpoints.

The RN2 is located around eight kilometres from Bouillancy and leads to Roissy, Paris and its suburbs. Roissy can be reached in 25 minutes, while Paris and its suburbs are less than an hour away. Disneyland Paris Parc is also a park in the wider region around Bouillancy.
