Nature
The Boucle des polders is a 24.7-kilometre circular cycle route from Triaize to Luçon through the drained marshland. The Circuit des Prés Saint-Jean offers two circular hiking routes of 5 and 11 kilometres, starting at the town hall. Triaize is part of the Marais poitevin Regional Nature Park.
The Circuit du canal de Luçon is 10.6 kilometres long and follows the canal's former towpath. An observation platform is available along the Sentier des Iris. The Plateforme d'observation du marais communal de Triaize is a birdwatching site in Triaize's communal marshland.
Culture
Construction of the Église Saint-Jean-l'Évangéliste in Triaize began at the end of the 11th century. The church follows the regional Romanesque plan and comprises a nave, transept, choir and apse.
The Portes de la Varenne are among the sector's last floodgates. They close during the incoming tide under the pressure of seawater and open during the outgoing tide under the pressure of freshwater. The floodgates were renovated in 2011.

The Fête de la bouse is a festival celebrating traditional crafts and rural life, held annually since 1984 on the last weekend of July. The monthly “Au Fil des migrations” excursions are organised by the tourist offices in the area.
