Culture and history
The Manoir du Vigneau in Saint-Germain-l'Aiguiller is a 17th-century manor house. The year 1624 is displayed on a dormer window. The façades and roofs of the entrance wing with the portal were partially listed as a Monument historique on 11 July 1984. The Manoir du Vigneau is privately owned.
The Domaine Saint-Sauveur in Saint-Germain-l'Aiguiller was a former seminary of the Fathers of Chavagnes dating from 1843. The Basile Bonnet cultural centre at the Domaine Saint-Sauveur is used for conferences, video screenings, musical events, wellness workshops and themed workshops.

Circuit 25 of the Vendée Vélo network runs from Essarts-en-Bocage to Cheffois. It is 67.6 km long; 73 % of the route is paved and 27 % has a sandy surface. The route passes through woodland and bocage landscapes and is presented as a cultural and historical route through the Vendée bocage.
