In Les Châtelliers-Châteaumur, the Donjon de Châteaumur and the gate of its enclosure (ruins) have been protected as historic monuments since their designation on 14 November 1979. Culture and History
The Church of Notre-Dame has a Romanesque portal from the 12th century on its picturesque hill, as well as a preserved adjoining cemetery. The original church dates back to the 12th century, when a small building dependent on Mauléon Abbey was constructed. The present-day church has a Latin-cross floor plan and a 16th-century choir with a flat end.
Les Châtelliers-Châteaumur also has two mound-shaped elevations dating from the Gallo-Roman period.
