Culture and history
The Pas Opton, a former ford, lies on the River La Vie. Remains of a port were uncovered on the site of the Pas Opton in 1987.
The Pierre bleue du Fenouiller is a rare blue or green slate that was formerly quarried locally and used for walls and decorative elements.
Nature
The Marais du Plessis is a protected Natura 2000 site. From the viewpoint at the Marais du Plessis, the marshland and the River La Vie can be viewed from the Impasse de la Violière.
The Parc de la Coutellerie is a wooded, centrally located park with picnic tables. The park has a children’s play area with a zip line, a spider climbing pyramid, a slide and swings.

Walking routes
A footpath along the River La Vie presents the history of the Marais du Plessis and features depictions of the local fauna and flora.
The Sentier du Poiré aux Parionnières No. 16 is an easy 7.2-kilometre circular walk starting at the Place de l'Église. Near Le Poiré, the path crosses a small bridge to a viewpoint overlooking the River La Vie.

Events
Festiv'Accordéon features traditional, folk and guinguette music. The event has a covered 300 m² dance floor; admission is free and Festiv'Accordéon is open to everyone.
Festiv'Assos takes place every year at the end of August at the Complexe sportif des Barrières.
