Nature and paths
From the Voie Verte, there are views of the church and the village of Thoiré-sous-Contensor. The Voie Verte Haute Sarthe Alpes Mancelles runs through the municipalities of Chérancé, Grandchamp and Thoiré-sous-Contensor and follows the former railway line.
The Voie Verte des Alpes Mancelles crosses the Bienne on several structures. After a 2.9 km stretch, it reaches the former railway station of Thoiré-sous-Contensor.

Culture and history
The Church of Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Protais retained its Romanesque character until the last century. It was restored several times from the 1870s onwards. The interior and furnishings of the Church of Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Protais were also renovated or replaced.
The former La Hutte-Mamers railway line was put into operation on 30 August 1880. Passenger services on the former La Hutte-Mamers railway line were discontinued on 15 May 1938.
The monumental paintings in Thoiré-sous-Contensor include a stone imitation painting, polychrome keystones, an imitation drapery and symbols of the apostles.
