Pruillé-l'Éguillé: Holiday apartments and houses

Culture and history
In the mid-19th century, the Maison du Pilier Vert was an inn called Soleil d'Or. The municipality of Pruillé-l'Éguillé acquired the house in 2005 and restored it. On the upper floor, a remnant of half-timbering in a lattice construction was uncovered on part of the eastern eaves wall.
The east-facing gable of the Maison de la Petite Maltière is built in a half-timbered style with clay infill on a wattle framework. From 1913 to 1926, the Saint-Jean mill operated a sawmill and continued to operate as an exchange mill until 1969. It probably served the collegiate church of Saint-Julien in Pruillé-l'Éguillé.
Nature and trails
The Maison forestière de la Doucinière was built by the forestry administration in 1815 and is located on the edge of the Forêt de Bercé. At the edge of this forest, the rural Boucle du Clairet offers beautiful views of Pruillé-l'Éguillé and its surroundings.
The En forêt de Bercé hiking trail is classified as a moderately difficult hike covering 20.8 kilometres and taking 5 hours. It follows a path along the edge of the forest and leads to Le Chêne Sermaise, which is considered a notable tree worth seeing.
