Culture and History
The war memorial in the Church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul in Pontvallain was erected shortly after the end of the First World War and inaugurated in April 1920. It includes statues of Joan of Arc and Bertrand du Guesclin.

Pontvallain has almost 20 km of hiking trails, allowing visitors to explore the landscape of Sarthe and the surrounding villages. The Aune and its tributaries are considered ecological attractions in Pontvallain.
