Montfort-Le-Gesnois combines striking buildings, traces of various eras and the surroundings of the Huisne. Today’s Château de Montfort is a 19th-century neoclassical building that replaced the former feudal fortress in 1820. Only a few arches of the original structure of the Pont Romain, dating from around 50 AD, remain today. Renting a holiday apartment is one option for a stay in Montfort-le-Gesnois.
