Culture and History
The painting “Vierge avec donateurs” is located on the north wall of the nave in the church of Montaillé. It is probably a 19th-century copy after Van Dyck. Montaillé’s Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste dates from the 16th century.
The Monument aux morts of Montaillé stands near the church. The Lavoir du bourg is located on the Pibeau along the D249 towards Conflans-sur-Anille. It was restored by the municipality and a team of volunteers and covered with slate.
