The Château de Lucé is protected as a historic monument; the protection covers the park, the gateway, the semicircular outbuildings, the laundry, the stable and the orangery. The listing was made by decree dated 3 March 1998.

Culture and History
The Château de Lucé, also known as Château du Grand-Lucé, was built in 1760 by the architect M. de Bayeux. Villa Bléteau was built in 1900 by Henri Aumas, an architect from Le Mans, as a grand town house and is now the town hall of Le Grand-Lucé.
The church of Le Grand-Lucé houses the gravestone of Jacques Pineau, Baron de Lucé. As an object, it was listed as a protected monument on 22 July 1983. The history of the town also includes the fact that Le Grand-Lucé was destroyed by fire in 1781.

The “La petite ville reconstruite” route is a yellow-marked Sentier de Promenade et de Randonnée (PR). It leads towards the Moulin de la Bulassière and takes 3 hours and 30 minutes. The water wheel of the Moulin de la Bulassière is still visible.

“A portée de panier” is a farmers’ market in the Zone Artisanale, 3 Rue de la Prairie, 72150 Le Grand-Lucé. On Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the market offers vegetables, apples, baked goods, cheese, poultry, pork, beer, wine and honey.
