La Chapelle-Aux-Choux: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture
The Sainte-Geneviève Church probably dates from the 12th century and was apparently extended in the late 15th or early 16th century. Its floor plan is elongated and comprises a single nave and a vaulted choir.
Several château estates also form part of the village landscape. Château du Perray is located on the northern slope of the hill on the left bank of the Loir. Château de La Châtaigneraie was built from 1880 onwards in the grounds of Vauduchou by the Anjou-born architect Dessauze. It has been completely restored; the landscaped park was altered and includes a monumental staircase as well as new gardens decorated with statues and vases.
Only the ruins of neoclassical buildings dating from the beginning of the 19th century remain at Vau du Chou.
Nature and Trails
The Circuit des trois provinces is a walking and hiking trail in La Chapelle-aux-Choux designated as a PR route. There is a car park at the starting point, opposite the Sainte-Geneviève Church. The circular route passes the Chapelle Saint-Pierre in La Chapelle-aux-Choux and continues into the forests of Perraudière.
