The choir of the church in Dissay-sous-Courcillon has been listed as a historic monument since 4 February 1927. Two statues stand in the church’s southern side aisle: John the Baptist and Saint Genevieve. Both date from the 17th century and were classified as historic objects on 15 April 1907.

The priory in Dissay-sous-Courcillon features monumental paintings depicting animals and people. These monumental paintings were classified as historic objects on 10 June 1987.

The designated sites also include the Menhir dit de la Pierre Levée at the place known as La Pierre Levée in Dissay-sous-Courcillon and the Menhir de la Serpinerie, which has been listed there as a historic monument since 24 November 1984. The Château de Courcillon and its park are designated heritage sites in Dissay-sous-Courcillon; the surroundings of the Château de Courcillon are designated as a protected area. The Moulin Saint-Jacques was initially a grain mill, then a cotton-wadding factory as well as an industrial dairy and cheese-making facility, and today serves as a residence.

The two rivers Long and Escotais cross Dissay-sous-Courcillon and meet outside the village centre.

Hiking

The Circuit de Vauperon is an easy circular hike covering 8.8 kilometres. It is also a hiking trail designated as a PR route, which begins in Dissay-sous-Courcillon. It follows the Long valley and offers the opportunity to discover the Château de Courcillon, which gave the village its current name.
