Crosmières: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The Maison dite de Malicorne in Crosmières is partially listed as a historic monument; the listing was made by decree dated 4 August 1978. The heritage protection covers the façades and roofs, as well as a room on the first floor with a fireplace and wall paintings.

The first written records of the Domaine de la Potardière in Crosmières date back to 1389, when a feudal lord was mentioned for the first time. Around 1970, at the time when Wladimir Hall was the trainer, the Haras de la Potardière was one of the largest stud farms in western France and had more than 100 horses.

Today, the Domaine de la Potardière is used as a venue for weddings, family gatherings, receptions and professional events. The Chapelle Saint-Blaise of the Château de la Bouillerie in Crosmières can be visited individually or in groups as part of free visits.

Geographical Location

The RD 306 crosses Crosmières from east to west; it is the former RN 159, which connected Tours with Laval.

At MA Ferme Ô Grenouilles in Crosmières, milk processing takes place on site. MA Ferme Ô Grenouilles produces and matures the farmhouse cheese l’Etommiére, a tomme fermière, on site. In addition to its dairy products, it offers beef and veal.
