The Château de Martigné in Avessé was listed as a historic monument on 19 November 1990.

The Château de Martigné overlooks the Vègre Valley and is exceptional for its architecture. It was created by combining buildings from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries.

The ensemble consists of two parallel buildings with tall gables. The first was built in the 15th century, and a second building was added a century later.
