Culture

The Sentier des ruines de l'Abbaye is 8 km long and runs through the bocage landscape along paths once used by schoolchildren. The religious heritage mentioned there includes crosses, a chapel and the ruins of an abbey. The Notre-Dame du Pont-Aubray chapel and its paired crosses bear witness to the faith; Saint Louis made a religious stop there on 20 April 1252.

The route also mentions the paired crosses of the Chemin montais and a 15th-century statue of the Virgin and Child. The Sentier des ruines de l'Abbaye describes a former route to Mont Saint-Michel and the Chapelle du Pont-Aubray; the chapel was restored by volunteers.
