Nature and outdoor activities
Gorron has 24 kilometres of walking trails. The Sentier de la Colmont No. 11 starts at the church, is marked in yellow and bears the FFRandonnée label. The Parc de loisirs de la Colmont offers a high ropes course.

Water
The Colmont River runs through Gorron for just under 3 kilometres. Fishing is permitted along the local stretch from the Taillis de la mort to the wastewater treatment plant at the foot of the Les Besnardières business park, as well as along the Promenade Saint-Laurent. Fishing in the Colmont in Gorron requires a first-category fishing permit.
Culture and history
The Menhir de la Roche is a Neolithic menhir in Gorron. It has been classified as a historic monument since 15 March 1978. The first authentic document mentioning the Saint Martin church in Gorron dates from 1082.
The Chapelle du Bignon in Gorron was rebuilt in its present form in 1860. Its site was a place of pilgrimage.
The Logis de la Renardière in Gorron is an old building that probably dates from the 15th century. The restored Logis de la Renardière retains an orthogonal tower with a spiral staircase.
The Moulin du Pré, also known as Moulin Neuf, was converted into a hydraulic sawmill at the end of the 1870s. The restored waterwheel of the Moulin du Pré is still visible. Also visible are the gears that converted water power into driving power and the sluice gates used to regulate the water flow.
