History and Culture
The Church of Saint Martin dates back to the 13th century and was originally a simple chapel dedicated to Saint Anne for people with leprosy.
The Calvaire de Turretot was inaugurated on 25 July 1926 at the site where the former church, which probably disappeared during the Revolution, had stood.
The Circuit des Totems includes a stop at the Jardin Pédagogique, right next to the Church of Saint Martin.
Those who choose Turretot as a destination may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
Orientation
GPX and PDF files are available for navigation on the Circuit des Totems. An approximately 5 km route on the Circuit des Totems connects the totems in Turretot.
The P'tite Balade 4 - Tour d'Ecuquetot can be started at the Les Bruyères cemetery car park.
Walks and Trails
The P'tite Balade 1 - Grand Tour du Centre Bourg is 3.9 km long and takes about an hour. Les P'tites Balades de Turretot are walks ranging from 2 to 4 km, offered by members of the CEME (Commission d'habitants de la commune en lien avec l'environnement).
The GR21 crosses Turretot from east to west. Sections of the GR21 can be hiked from Turretot.
Landscape
The Le Moulin de la Lézarde route passes through Turretot and varied landscapes between countryside and forest.
The L'Observatoire des étoiles hike passes through Turretot, is 13 km long, and runs through highly varied landscapes with plains and wooded sunken lanes.
Events
Turretot hosts the Foire à l'artisanat over the Easter weekend. The Turretot Geek Convention takes place in September.
