Nature

Miromesnil is included in the list of gardens in Normandy awarded the “Jardin remarquable” designation, published on 12 February 2024.

The beech grove at Miromesnil is considered classified and preserved in its entirety. It stretches for almost one kilometre, contains around 3,500 beech trees and reaches heights of up to 40 metres for some trees.

The park of the Château de Miromesnil is surrounded by 17th-century brick walls and dominated by a two-hundred-year-old cedar of Lebanon. The current design of Miromesnil’s kitchen garden was created after the Second World War by Simone de Vogüé, the grandmother of the current owner; before that, the garden initially served to supply food.

Cycling

The Miromesnil estate bears the “Accueil Vélo” bicycle-friendly label. A voie verte, a car-free greenway, is located less than one kilometre from the Château de Miromesnil.
