Sassetot-Le-Mauconduit: Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture

The façades and roofs of Château de Sassetot, its orangery and its dovecote were placed under heritage protection as Monuments Historiques by a decree dated 20 May 1975.

The Church of Notre-Dame de la Nativité was built in 1853 and preserves baptismal fonts and choir screens from the 13th century from the former church. Its pulpit was made in 1891 by two woodcarvers and sculptors from Sassetot. Next to the Church of Notre-Dame de la Nativité stands a cross from the former cemetery dating from the 13th century.

In July 1875, the Austrian Empress Elisabeth, known as Sissi, arrived at Fécamp railway station by special train with an entourage of seventy people.
