The Musée Pierre Corneille has been designated a Musée de France since 17 September 2003. Pierre Corneille’s country house in Petit-Couronne was acquired by his father in 1608. The museum garden is designed in the style of the 17th century, with geometric shapes and carefully delineated areas. The Musée Pierre Corneille offers themed exhibitions, numerous events throughout the year, and workshops for children and families. The Église Saint-Aubin was built from 1691 onwards on the ruins of an older church and is one of the oldest buildings in Petit-Couronne.
