Culture

The parish church of Saint-Jacques le Majeur in Moulineaux was formerly a royal chapel, which was converted into a parish church at the beginning of the 13th century. The rood screen in the church dates from the 16th century and was donated by the Caradas family.

The Lavoir de Moulineaux consists of a single elongated brick basin. It was built on the site of a former public fountain supplied by spring water. In 2002, the municipality restored the lavoir as part of the local cultural heritage; it is not used today.

Château Robert-le-Diable offers a wooded setting at a crossroads of footpaths, as well as a viewpoint over the Seine Valley from its tower.

At the Explor Games at Château Robert-le-Diable, the château and its legend serve as the setting for challenge scenarios aimed at families or groups. The “Qui vive?” monument in front of Château Robert-le-Diable commemorates the battles that took place there in 1870.
