History
The present-day Château de la Bérardière was built in 1695. The Montpatry manor house was probably built in 1674 by Jean Roussel de Montpatry. The present-day La Nocherie manor house is believed to date from the time of Louis XIII, between approximately 1600 and 1650.
The Manoir de la Bérardière is partially listed as a historic monument. The protected estate includes a walled garden, a pond, an access avenue, wooded areas, and landscaped promenades. A chapel in La Bérardière was built in 1750 and dedicated to Saint Francis Xavier.
