The Cambrian volcanic complex of Écouves is designated as a surface exposure and publicly documented. It belongs to the municipalities of Fontenai-les-Louvets and Livaie. At one end of the Forêt d'Écouves lies the Bois de Roche Elie.

The Normandie-Maine Regional Park is a park in the vicinity of Livaie. Several scree slopes have been inventoried in the Normandie-Maine Regional Nature Park, including Butte Chaumont and Livaie. On Sunday, 30 March 2025, the association organised a birdwatching outing entitled “à l’écoute des oiseaux” in Livaie. On 1 March 2026 at 2 p.m., ADN Livaie organised a forest tracking activity lasting approximately two and a half hours on ONF plot no. 334 along the D2 from Livaie towards Alençon.
