The Château de L'Aigle was built from 1690 onwards on the site of an older fortress. Together with its outbuildings, it has been classified as a Historic Monument since 28 April 1948. The Musée Juin 44 opened in the outbuildings of the Château de L'Aigle in 1953 and was France's first talking museum.

The grand staircase with a double spiral design in the Château de L'Aigle can be visited during the town hall's opening hours or year-round by request. The Église Saint-Martin features architectural layers dating from the 11th to the 20th century.

The museums also include the Musée des instruments de musique, with around 90 instruments from the ANGOT collection, and the Musée de la météorite de L'Aigle, with a permanent exhibition on the meteorite that fell on the town of L'Aigle in 1803.

The Platanes tricentenaires take root between two arms of the Risle in L'Aigle. The two trees look back on 300 years of history.

The Promenade des 7 ponts is a botanical trail that makes use of numerous bridges in this part of the town.
