Culture and History
The Église du Douet-Arthus is located in Heugon, in the hamlet of Le Douet-Arthus.
The church dates from the 12th century, was remodelled in the 15th century, and acquired a half-timbered porch in the 18th century. It also features mid-15th-century wall paintings depicting a danse macabre and a crucifixion.
The Église Saint-Martin in Heugon contains two statues of Saint Maur and Saint Martin. It also contains a 16th-century statue of Christ on the cross.
