Gacé: Apartments and Holiday Homes

Culture and History
The Musée de la Dame aux Camélias is housed in three large rooms of the Château de Gacé. It displays objects and documents from the collection of the person depicted, as well as stage costumes from the Paris Opera. The museum presents its subject through films, theatre, opera, books, dance and television.
The Musée des Minéraux et des Fossiles presents its acquisitions in numerous display cases; many specimens in its collection come from Normandy. The façades and roofs of the Château de Gacé were listed as historic monuments by decree of 6 May 1968. The western tower of the Château de Gacé, known as the Tour Talbot, dates from the Hundred Years’ War.
Landscape and Trails
Gacé is characterised by meadows, bocage hedgerows and forests. There are stretches along the Touques near Gacé where trout fishing is possible. Gacé also lies at a former crossroads of pilgrimage routes leading either to Mont-Saint-Michel or Santiago de Compostela.
La Véronnière is an 8 km circular hike starting in Gacé. The route passes through hilly landscapes with beautiful viewpoints to the Moulin de la Véronnière and then returns to Gacé.

A weekly market takes place in Gacé on Saturday afternoon.
