Pont-Brocard is located in Dangy at the confluence of the Bel stream and the Soulles, in a landscape of bocage and wooded valleys. The place is also a junction of several hiking trails, including the GR221 long-distance trail.

The circular hiking trail in Dangy starts at the Place de la Mairie de Dangy. It is marked in blue and followed clockwise. Another route is circular trail number seven, “Les enfumés de Dangy”. It is suitable for hiking on foot, by mountain bike (VTT), and on horseback.
Culture and History
Pont-Brocard was formerly a dependency of the Order of Malta. The Church of Saint John the Baptist stands there; it was built in the first half of the 19th century to replace an older church. Inside is a shell-shaped baptismal font from the 17th century, which is listed as a historic monument.
The Church of Saint Martin in Dangy also dates back a long way: it predates 1212, while its Gothic southern porch was built in 1493. The church contains a Mass set comprising a chalice, paten, cruets, tray, and bell, which is listed as a protected movable historic object; the protection was registered on 4 May 1988.
The Château de Dangy was built right at the end of the 18th century. It replaced an older castle, of which the moats and an outbuilding remain.
