The Church of Notre-Dame in Cretteville originally dates back to the 13th century; however, most of the surviving components date from the 15th century. It is entered through a 15th-century portal. Its furnishings include a gilded and painted wooden rood screen from the 17th century and the crucifix mounted on it; both are classified as Monuments Historiques.

Culture
A small wooden statue is venerated under the name Notre-Dame de Cretteville. A niche in the wall of the presbytery in the centre of the village houses Notre-Dame des Champs. The 15th-century Oratoire de la Vierge des Marais stands 300 metres from the village centre at the crossroads of the paths on the road through the Marais de Fos.
The former Château de Franquetot, a fief of the Dukes of Coigny, stood in the territory of Cretteville until 1840. Significant foundations of Roman buildings were discovered on the site of the former La Pierre farm near the Roman road from Portbail to Saint-Côme-du-Mont.

The Marais de Fos in Cretteville covers 68 hectares and is irrigated by the Douve. The Marais de Franquetot in Cretteville covers 51 hectares and is bordered by the Senelle.

It commemorates the operations of the 358th Fighter Group from Advanced Landing Ground A-14 in Cretteville beginning on 4 July 1944.
Advanced Landing Ground A-14 in Cretteville became operational on 4 July 1944; the 358th Fighter Group remained stationed there until 14 August 1944. The 406th Fighter Group was stationed at airfield A-14 in Cretteville from 17 August to early September 1944.

Local cycle route no. 3, „Les Promontoires du Bauptois“, begins in Beuzeville-la-Bastille and is 27 kilometres long; alternatively, there is a 13-kilometre short loop.
