Sainte-Gemme: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Themed hiking trail “Camin dels Carboniers” begins in Sainte-Gemme. The circular route is 12 kilometres long and conveys the history of farmers and miners.

The section of the “Tour du Tarn à cheval” horse-riding trail between Sainte-Gemme and Saussenac begins in Sainte-Gemme. It is 22 kilometres long and designed for one day. The horse-riding section uses the yellow markings of the “Sentier du Ségala” and the arrow signs for “Le Tarn à cheval”.

Culture

The Church of Saint-Cyrice in the centre of Sainte-Gemme is a defining monument of the municipality. The church houses a protected 17th-century work: an altarpiece made of carved, gilded and painted wood.

In the wider regional surroundings of Sainte-Gemme are the Musée Toulouse-Lautrec, the Église Sainte-Madeleine, the Collégiale Saint-Salvy, the Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile, the Jardins du Palais de la Berbie, the Jardin National and the Parc de Rochegude.

The three-day village festival held annually at the beginning of July in Sainte-Gemme included a traditional mass in the Church of Saint-Cyrice on 11 July 2026.
