Trails and Nature
The Sentier des Romains is an 8.5-kilometre-long, easy hiking trail starting at the Place de la mairie in Lombers; its stated duration is two hours. It follows the former Roman road “cami Roumieu” and runs near the Croix du Pic de Lombers, which marks the site of the former castle.
The 42-kilometre-long Voie verte “chemin des droits de l'homme” follows a former railway line between Albi and Castres. It can be used on foot or by bicycle and provides contact with the surrounding landscapes, flora and fauna.

Le Chai aux Pigeonniers is a personal museum about dovecotes, featuring an educational exhibition, a 25-minute video, photos, models, materials and guided tours led by dovecote expert Michel Lucien.
The Moulin d’Ambrozy is an authentic grain mill that was built before the 16th century and restored. The Boucle des Archéologues passes by the Pigeonnier de Saint-Sernin, a pyramid-shaped structure on arch supports with numerous clay nests in its walls.
The Circuit des Pigeonniers includes around fifteen historic dovecotes: cylindrical structures, Pied-de-mulet structures and structures on pillars.

Les Pigeons du Mont Royal is a farm specialising in meat pigeons and a pigeon ecomuseum; guided tours are offered year-round exclusively by reservation. The pigeon production process is followed from birth through processing. Products offered include oven-ready squabs, fine canned pigeon and squab products, and breeding pairs.
