Laboulbène lies between Castres and Albi in the plains of the Agout in the Tarn département. The village combines a distinctly characterful landscape with local meeting places, markets and festivals.
Landscape
The Laboulbène area has a clay-siliceous subsoil. There is no limestone, while sand predominates over clay. The Ruisseau du Rozé flows through Laboulbène and is the village’s most important watercourse.
Local Life
Chez Suzette is a participatory café set up in a municipal building in Laboulbène. It is located near the town hall. Chez Suzette welcomes guests every second Sunday of the month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Marché gourmand et artisanal invites visitors to discover and sample regional products from the local terroir.
