Culture and Local History
On the village square in Montgaillard stands a half-timbered house whose Lomagnol origins are apparent. A corner tower and part of the surrounding moats remain from the former castle in Montgaillard. The Église Saint-Séverin is a neo-Gothic church dating from the 19th century.
Pottery
Clay needed to make “oules”, typical cooking vessels, was extracted in the Bois de Oules. In the village of Montgaillard in the Tarn-et-Garonne département, there were around forty potters about half a century ago.
