The Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation has been classified as a historic monument since 30 June 1910. It has a five-aisled nave, begun in the 14th century and completed in the 15th century, as well as a brick tower in the regional style dating from the mid-15th century.

At the Pente d’eau de Montech, a facility was commissioned on 9 July 1974 that made it possible to replace five closely spaced locks on the Canal de Garonne. It has been closed to navigation since 2009. The exhibition péniche Altaïr is located there; it is more than 38 metres long and dates from 1955. The visitor route at the Pente d’eau includes an interactive area where visitors can operate the machine. From the tourist office, an approximately 1.5-hour walk along the Canal latéral à la Garonne leads to the Pente d’eau de Montech and its immersive exhibition péniche.

The Pigeonnier de Saint-Cry has been listed as a protected historic monument since 5 April 1979.

Walks

The Forêt d’Agre is a state-owned forest used for walking and, under certain conditions, also open to community or tourist activities. The Forêt-d’Agre botanical trail, created by the Conseil Municipal des Jeunes de Montech, is a fun and educational circular route for walkers.

The Circuit patrimoine: ville de Montech is a one-hour walk through the town centre at your own pace. An accompanying booklet is available from the tourist office and town halls or can be downloaded.

Nature

The Plan d’eau de La Mouscane has a secure fishing jetty and a picnic area.
