Culture and History

The Église de l’Immaculée Conception in Lamagistère was built between 1825 and 1833. The neoclassical building is made of brick, with the exception of the façade. The interior furnishings include a chancel screen, an altar, five statues, two paintings and a pulpit.

The place on the Canal des Deux Mers is called l’Escampadou. The l’Escampadou structure is a masonry construction where the Canal des Deux Mers crosses the Barguelonne.
