Culture
The Sainte-Cécile church was rebuilt at the end of the 15th century on the site of the former priory of the Knights Hospitaller. It consists of three rib-vaulted bays. In its right-hand chapel there is a former altar made of dressed stone, supported by three small ogives.

History
In the 12th century, the Hospitallers owned Lacapelle. The order’s chapel stood approximately on the site where the Sainte-Cécile church stands today. Around 1120, the church of La Capelle is mentioned in a record of possessions. In 1195, the then-uninhabited and almost-ruined village of La Capelle, along with a nearby fortification, was granted as a fief by Arnaut de Boussagues, the prior of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem.
The large wrought-iron Passion cross bears the year 1890 above the chalice.
