Fajolles: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

History and Culture

From the 12th century until the French Revolution, Fajolles was the seat of a commandery of the Order of Malta. The processional cross from the Church of Saint-Nicolas in Fajolles was made around 1475. It is a multi-part silver object featuring repoussé work, chasing and gilding. Today, it is located in the parish church of Auvillar, in the church treasury.

In 2017, the Fajolles festival committee had already been organising the traditional skewer evening every year for 41 years. At this skewer evening in 2017, participants grilled their skewers at the provided fire pits on a self-service basis.
