Teyssieu combines historic church art, archaeological evidence and a tower complex open to the public. In the parish church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, the apse and a straight bay of the 12th-century church building have been preserved. There are also signed and dated stained-glass windows by Louis Gesta of Toulouse, L. V. Gesta, G. P. Dagrant of Bordeaux and Henri Gesta of Toulouse, dating from 1886 to 1923. The parish church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine has been listed as a historic monument since 23 November 1992.
Culture
The Tour de Teyssieu is open to the public following several construction phases completed by 2022. The Musée de la Préhistoire du Ségala Quercynois displays archaeological finds from the Neolithic and Palaeolithic periods discovered in the area of Teyssieu by Jean Tournier, a local resident interested in prehistory. The archaeological sites are presented on panels and maps. All year round, the museum offers group visits on request; admission is free and open to everyone.

Nature
“De Teyssieu à Estal” is a circular hiking route of the Promenades et Randonnées (PR) type. The return section of the route follows a high trail with wide views over the Cère Valley.
