Prendeignes: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
In Prendeignes, the Chemin des Totems begins at the entrance to the village centre. The route forms a loop through Cantagrel and Cantagrel Haut and is marked with around thirty totems. It was created with the participation of Prendeignes residents; the creative activities were free of charge for participants. At the same time, the Chemin des Totems makes it possible to discover the village’s buildings and landscapes in a different way.

Culture and History
A large proportion of the traditional houses in Prendeignes reflect a combination of living and local economic activity: on the ground floors, the rooms serve agricultural or commercial purposes. In traditional houses, a stone staircase also leads to a “bolet” located on the first floor.
In the vicinity of Prendeignes are Abbaye Saint-Sauveur, a historic site, Abbaye de Lissac, a historic site, and Prieuré de Vic-lès-Capdenac, also a historic site. As part of the work carried out in 2014, the access paths, including the new “sentier retrouvé” from Prendeignes, were maintained. Parts of the roof framework at the washhouse were renewed, traditional canal tiles were used, and a mosaic was installed.
Geographical Location
In the wider regional surroundings of Prendeignes are Château d'Assier, a palace, as well as La Falzinde and Puy Majou, each a hill.
Events
Ségal’Arts takes place every summer as a festival of street and rural art. Street theatre, artistic performances, concerts and workshops are offered in the village streets. In addition to local residents, Ségal’Arts also attracts visitors from the surrounding area.
In 2026, the festival returned for its 21st edition, which took place from 24 to 26 July 2026.
