The Maison-forte de Labastide-Floyras is a medieval fortified house and was once a knights’ stronghold. It is partially listed as a historic monument; the protection covers the façades, roofs and lower rooms.

The parish church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens in Pontcirq is a medieval church. Its main dating is attributed—with the relevant reservations regarding uncertainty—to the 12th, 17th and 19th centuries. In the Lot, it is one of almost 400 religious buildings dating from before the 16th century.

In the hamlet of Tourniac, there is a bread oven as a testament to times gone by. The fortified residence in Tourniac, Pontcirq, is dated mainly to the fourth quarter of the 13th century. The fortified residence in question is one of more than 350 castles, towers and other fortified structures in the Lot dating from the period between the 10th and 16th centuries.

Nature

Pontcirq is part of the type 2 ZNIEFF area Vallée du Vert. The natural features described there include tuff benches with micro-waterfalls and remarkable aquatic microfauna, which is rather rare in the Lot.
