The Collégiale Notre Dame de l'Assomption du Vigan was classified as a historic monument by decree dated 18 October 1893. The Chapelle Sainte-Rondine is the only surviving remnant of the former Hôpital Notre-Dame de la Pitié. The Chapelle Saint Pierre contains a window opening with glazing made from reassembled fragments of 15th-century stained glass; this stained glass was classified on 18 October 1913. Capitals that presumably come from the first Romanesque church can also be seen there. The Abbatiale Notre-Dame de l'Assomption has a choir ending with three apses.
Things to do
The Parcours Sonore du Vigan-en-Quercy is a self-guided, immersive audio tour that can be completed on foot or by bicycle. The Parcours Sonore Le Vigan En Quercy takes about an hour and includes twelve stations. It can be followed directly on a smartphone without printing out the route sheet beforehand.
The Circuit de Pochy is an 8.7 km hiking loop starting in Le Vigan. The route passes springs, washhouses and two typical mills: the Moulin de Dalet and the Moulin de Boucot. At the end of the Circuit de Pochy, the route follows the GR 64 to Lac du Vigan before returning to the town centre.

The Marché Gourmand des Producteurs de Pays takes place at the Place de l'Abbatiale in Le Vigan.
