The Église de Salvezou is listed as a historic monument and contains 16th-century wall paintings.
The Saint-Jean Priory was founded in the 11th century in the Vert Valley by Benedictine monks from Italy. The surviving parts include the Saint-Astier Church and the chapter house. The latter is decorated with numerous carved capitals.

Lac Vert in Catus is a seven-hectare recreational lake. It has a shaded beach; supervised swimming is offered there in July and August. A path approximately 1.5 kilometres long runs around the lake.
Trails
Le Chemin des Prieurs is a 7.9-kilometre, yellow-marked circular trail in Catus that is accessible to horse riders and mountain bikers. It offers a shaded excursion in the heights above Catus, with an exploration of the Vert Valley.
The Les Hauts du Lac Vert circular trail starts at Lac de Catus and presents no particular technical difficulties.

The Marché de Producteurs à Catus is a weekly market featuring local producers, held under Catus's covered market hall.
