The 62-kilometre cycling circuit Le tour des cinq coteaux runs through Vielle-Adour and is aimed at experienced cyclists.

The cycling route Vielle/Montgaillard circuit 1 FFC runs from Bagnères-de-Bigorre to Vielle-Adour, mostly through flat terrain and with little elevation gain.
The route La plaine par les coteaux de Barbazan can be cycled year-round. As a road cycling route, La Plaine par les coteaux de Barbazan runs through section 6 in Vielle-Adour; in the section through Vielle-Adour, it leads to the D8 at 2 Route de Hiis.
The route Le col de la croix blanche par Visker runs through Vielle-Adour and offers a scenic high road with panoramic views of Lourdes.
The route Les coteaux d'Orignac also runs through Vielle-Adour.
Culture
La Brèche aux Loups in Vielle-Adour displays stuffed animals and birds from the Pyrenees, has a butterfly collection from five continents with more than 1,500 specimens, and welcomes visitors for a free tour by appointment. The site is about a ten-minute walk from the Vielle-Adour – Route de Tarbes bus stop.
