Tuzaguet leads right into the history of its medieval village: the Chastel de Trigalet, that is, the Château de Tuzaguet, was also besieged for five days during Edouard III’s siege of the Château de Mauvezin in 1373. The Château de Tuzaguet stood on a slope and was defended on one side by the Goutet gorge.
The former Château de Trigalet no longer exists. On Napoleonic maps from 1830, the site marked “Castet” is recorded near the town hall; this was where the Château de Trigalet (Tuzaguet) stood.
The Eglise de Tuzaguet is dedicated to Notre Dame de l’Assomption and probably dates from the late Middle Ages, the 15th to 16th century. An oval surrounding wall can be identified at the church; it served as a fortification and cemetery and protected the church. The Eglise de Tuzaguet is open during events and for visits.
The Fontaine Tuzaguet Chapelle St Roch is a fountain and livestock watering trough near the Saint-Roch chapel. It can be visited independently, individually or in groups. Along the uphill roads, the fountains of Tuzaguet serve as stopping points. In the past, fountains and washhouses supplied people and livestock in Tuzaguet with water.

The Tour des Lannes circular trail is an easy 6.7 km hike with 114 m of elevation gain and a duration of 1 hour 50 minutes. The Le Buala route is an easy 9.0 km hike with 135 m of elevation gain and a duration of 2 hours 40 minutes.
