Nature
In Séméac, the view first turns towards the Bois de la Barthe. This natural area has rich biodiversity and is used by walkers, families, sports enthusiasts and people who want to observe nature. Trails
The Trait Vert passes through Séméac and then leads to the CaminAdour, which is used by walkers and joggers. The CaminAdour is freely accessible to pedestrians and cyclists; Séméac is one of the designated starting points for the 11 to 11.5 km riverside trail along the Adour. Along the CaminAdour, information panels provide information about the Adour and riverbank protection, fauna and flora, canals and river dynamics, as well as urban planning; the Adour is addressed again in this context.
For the Les coteaux est route, parking is available in Séméac on Rue de la République near the Rossignols bus stop or on Allée de la Barthe behind the railway line.
Culture
The Centre Albert Camus has an exhibition room and an event hall with 360 seats. It also houses facilities for photography, video, theatre, flamenco, dance and choral singing.
The Centre Léo Lagrange has a large event hall with a stage on the ground floor. It is open to cultural associations and cultural institutions from Séméac and outside the municipality. The galleries of the Centre Léo Lagrange are intended to host exhibitions throughout the year.
History
The Church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption in Séméac has a canopy altarpiece and two side altarpieces by Dominique Ferrère. The Chemin mémoriel du parachutage du 10 avril 1944 begins in Séméac.
