Culture and History
The Manoir de Bazet was probably built in 1765 by the Marquis de Bazillac. The estate includes a walled garden, a well and rural buildings; it also features carved woodwork in the Louis XV style.
The Church of Saint Martin in Bazet was remodelled in the 19th century and houses an 18th-century altarpiece by Jean Brunelo. The town’s industrial history includes an electrical ceramics factory established in 1922 that produced insulators for power transmission lines.

Lac Gubinelli is located between the municipalities of Bours and Bazet in an area classified as a Natura 2000 site. The former extraction site was transformed into a family leisure centre. Swimming is permitted there in July and August and is supervised by lifeguards.

The 5 km-long Caminadour also runs along the Adour near Bazet. The route is accessible to cyclists, families and people with reduced mobility.
