Aureilhan: Holiday apartments and houses

The Tuilerie Oustau began producing bricks, roof tiles and pipes made from fired clay in 1873. In 1957, it was the first factory in France to equip its kilns with Lacq natural gas. The last brick firing in April 1970 marked the end of almost a century of ceramic activity at the Tuilerie Oustau in Aureilhan. An 18,000-square-metre English park surrounds the Oustau manor house.

Culture and open spaces

The Saint-Gérin Church has a bell tower dating from 1837; its nave was rebuilt and extended in 1842. Inside, there is a baptismal font bearing the engraved date 1603. In addition to liturgical events, Saint-Gérin Church regularly hosts concerts.

Paths

The CaminAdour is an 11-kilometre path that runs along the banks of the Adour. It is freely accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.

In the town

The event hall at the Espace Culture et Loisirs d’Aureilhan (ECLA) has 136 seats and five spaces for people with reduced mobility. It regularly hosts theatre performances, concerts, children’s film screenings, improvisational theatre, dance events and musicals.

The EMSA skatepark was officially opened and made accessible to the public on 26 June 2023.
